What every service contract should cover
Whatever the work, a good contract answers the questions that cause disputes later:
- Who the parties are and when the agreement starts
- Exactly what will be delivered, and by when
- How much, how and when payment is made
- How many revisions are included and how work is accepted
- Who owns the finished work and when ownership passes
- Confidentiality, how either side can end the agreement, and where disputes go
