'Worked on the payments service' says what you touched, not what you achieved. Use the pattern action + what + result: 'Rebuilt the payments service in Go, cutting p95 latency from 800 ms to 120 ms'. Numbers make bullets believable and memorable.
If you don't have exact figures, estimate honestly: users served, requests per second, hours saved per week, bugs reduced or deploy frequency.
Most tech companies screen resumes with an ATS. Use a single-column template, standard section names and spell out technologies the way the job description does - for example both 'Amazon Web Services' and 'AWS'.
No. List the ones you'd be comfortable being interviewed on, led by those in the job description. A focused list of 10-15 is more convincing than 40.
